The St. John is a preservation and revitalization project on the southside on Mitchel Street. The St. John’s Seminary had sat abandoned until the team at Mission came in with renewed hope to take this run down property and convert it into $42 Million Dollar mixed income, multifamily development, set to be a catalyst for change in the local neighborhood.
Scott Bailey from the San Antonio Business Journal writes: “While many saw the site on East Mitchell Street as an eyesore, a few viewed it as an opportunity to breathe new life into an area filled with aging homes, modest businesses and scattered industrial spaces.”
